ETHStaker/clr.fund Ethereum Staking CLR
ETHStaker and clr.fund are conducting a CLR funding round to support essential projects for the Ethereum staking ecosystem. These projects aim to make staking on Ethereum more accessible, secure, decentralized, and enjoyable.
This funding round utilizes Constrained Liberal Radicalism, also known as Quadratic Funding (QF), to allocate a significant amount of funds (over $350k!) to relevant projects. QF ensures that the funds matched to a project depend not only on the allocated dollars but also on the number of unique individuals contributing to the project. This means that even with just one DAI, you can have a significant impact by participating.
Excitingly, this round is conducted on Arbitrum, a scalable optimism roll-up, which reduces fees for users as Ethereum moves towards a layer 2-centric approach. Additionally, this round utilizes MACI to prevent collusion and vote-buying, important technologies for the advancement of high-value coordination mechanisms on-chain.
Contributions to the Ethereum Staking CLR will remain open for another 5 days (until May 23rd). Don’t wait! Enter Arbitrum, support your favorite projects with some DAI, and make a difference today.
Data Availability Sampling RFP
Safe and efficient Data Availability Sampling (DAS) is crucial for achieving Ethereum’s scalability goals. While progress has been made through proposals like EIP 4844, further exploration and refinement of DAS are necessary to fully unlock Ethereum’s potential.
The EF has released a Data Availability Sampling Networking RFP with $1.5M in earmarked funding to encourage more teams and individuals to contribute to this exciting R&D area. There is a wide range of tasks to be done, including formal analysis, efficient design, attack mitigations, network load tests, and more. If you are interested but new to DAS, please review the RFP details and feel free to send any questions to email@example.com.
Proposals must be submitted by July 1, 2022. Join us in building the future of Ethereum 🚀
